Biography

Riccardo Beltramo, Full Professor at Turin University’s Department of since 2005, professorship of "Environmental Management Systems and certification". Since 1985 he has been involved in the field of industrial ecology and experimentation on environmental management systems, applied to manufacturing and service sectors as well as industrial and mountain areas.He has been Professor of "Environmental Technology", "Ecology", "Integrated management systems" and "Operations Management" at the Faculty of Economics, has also taught at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery "Commodity Science applied to food products".He currently teaches, at the School of Management and Economics, Integrated certification and Industrial Ecology; Tourism Eco-management; Environmental Management Systems; Safety, Quality and Environmental Management; IoT 4.0 for Mountain tourism.He has been Visiting Professor at Manouba University (Tunisia) and at INRA, Research Centre of Clermont-Ferrand (Francia).He is Director of the Degree Programme in Business Administration in complex learning and Director of the Master's Degree in Management and Creativity of Hilly Heritage. He has been President and Director of the Interdepartmental Centre NatRisk, a network for theoretical, experimental and applied research and for the dissemination in the field of prediction, prevention and management of the risk of natural disasters in mountain and hilly environment. He is representative for the University of Torino, in Unimont.He is author of about 200 scientific and popular publications, has participated in international research projects. He has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Ev - K2- CNR as a coordinator of eco-efficient technologies and environmental management systems and, in that capacity, he was responsible for the Environmental Management System of the Italian Expedition to K2, in 2004 .In the field of Internet of Things (IoT) has desinagement of tourist accommodation facilities at medium and high altitudes and monitoring of field crops.
